Terms and Conditions

To be eligible for this competition you must read and fully agree to the terms and conditions below. Your entry to this competition acts as the acceptance to these terms and conditions.

The competition is a free prize draw and is organized by Loop Barbados, Danby Barclays Terrace, St. Michael Barbados.

 By entering the competition entrants agree that they have read and fully understood these terms and be bound by them. If you disagree with any of these terms and conditions then you may not enter this competition.

This competition is open to all individuals, aged 18 or over. Excluding Barbadians and employees of Loop Barbados, their families and anyone else professionally associated with this competition. 

 The offer: - a. The prize is a trip to Barbados with a guest. Accommodation and Flight along with some other specials are included. 

The instructions: To be entered in the “Likes for Nights”  Social Media contest you must do ALL of the following:

To gain additional entries (each worth one entry) You must:

  • Share Loop Barbados’s giveaway on Facebook (you can only share it once a day and you receive 1 entry per share)
  • Follow Loop Barbados on Google Plus (1 entry)
  • Share Loop Barbados on Twitter by hash tagging us (#LoopBarbados). For example, “Follow #LoopBarbados for a chance to win a vacation in #Barbados!
  • Follow Loop Barbados on Pinterest (1entry) http://pinterest.com/loopbarbados/
  • Follow Loop Barbados on Twitter- http://twitter.com/#!/LoopBarbados (1 entry)

The Winner shall be drawn at random.

The competition closes 8 weeks after launch Date.

No cash or other prizes alternatives are available and are strictly non transferable. The prize is subject to availability. Loop Barbados reserves the right to exchange prizes for others of equal or greater value.

 The winners will be notified by email and/or by phone within 1 week of competition closing. If winner has not claimed prize after 1 week, another winner will be drawn, this may continue until a winner has claimed the prize or prize has been forfeit.

The winner’s name and prize may be disclosed to the public.

Loop Barbados reserves the right to use the names or winners, for publicity purposes only.

 Loop Barbados shall not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury whatsoever suffered by any entrant or Prize winner (including but not limited to any direct, indirect, consequential, special, punitive or incidental loss or damages) or for any personal injury (whether physical or mental) suffered or sustained by the winner and/or their accompanying passenger as a result of or in connection with the Competition or the acceptance,  use or application of the Prize.  The winner and their guest agree to sign a contract disclaiming all liability for travel, stating they take full responsibility and travel at their own risk.

Winners must hold valid passports and be able to commence travel within one year of the prize draw. Prize winners must organize their own visa for this trip and any visa or passport charges are their sole responsibility. Loop Barbados cannot be held responsible for the winner being unable to participate in the prize due to visa or other restrictions.

Loop Barbados will endeavor to accommodate winner's travel date preferences, however all travel is subject to availability.

The Prize does not include travel or personal insurance, meals or beverages, travel to and from departure points, transfers to and from airports or hotels, medical expenses, spending money, government or airport taxes or levies, telephone calls, personal items or anything else not detailed in the definition of Prize above.

 If the Prize (or any part of the Prize) is unavailable for any reason, the Promoters, in their sole discretion, reserve the right to substitute the Prize (or part thereof) with a prize of equal value and/or specification.

Both the winner and their guest will have to sign a disclaimer removing liability that may be placed on Loop Barbados.

These terms and conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of Barbados and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Barbadian Courts shall prevail.
