Restaurant Review: The Carriage House

If you are looking to spend a stress-free day at a one of a kind hotel like The Crane Residential Resort and eat in a laid-back and casual atmosphere overlooking the Atlantic then we have the place for you. The Carriage house is located at the South end of the resort and housed in a refurbished historical barn. The menu is simple and relaxed, just like the enviorment. When we were lucky enough to spend a weekend at The Crane Residential Resort, there was no doubt in our mind we would not enjoy a lunch at The Carriage house. 

We had the grilled mahi-mahi seasoned with fresh herbs and a light marinade and served with a green toss salad and corn on the cob. What stood out the most with this dish was the simplicity of the fish and how well it was cooked -flackly, moist and very fresh. 

We also ordered the beef burger, which although, not 'home-made' was flavourful and juicy. That was served on a seasame seed bun with french fries.

To finish off, we enjoyed ice cream from the ice cream parlour located in The Village. This ice cream was geogeous and FRESH! We chose vanilla and peppermint choco-chip. It was so devine, its worth a drive alone!
