Barbados has the perfect balance of the country and the coast. Having a picnic in the country among the sugar cane fields or soaking up the sun on a sandy beach, either one is just perfect!

Barbados is in bloom (more to come next week) and we could not help but snap some unique flowers. Also, some barbadian sugary treats (that we ate too many of)  and bul jol (before we chopped and mixed)

We were lucky enough to be given a little tour of the Abbey. It is such a lovely place and next week you will get to see a whole lot more of it.
